The dragons are coming to Norwich!

Larking Gowen are proud to support the inaugural Brave Futures Dragon Boat Race, taking place at the Lady Julian Bridge Riverside on Saturday 27 April 2024! (Please note this is a change to the original September 2023 date)

The event is being organised by Brave Futures .

The teams will be encouraged to raise money for Brave Futures through sponsorship. All money raised will help the charity ensure that all children and young people who are victims and survivors of sexual abuse can have a space where they feel safe, listened to and given the tools they need to rebuild their futures.

Sandra Lucas, Corporate and Events fundraiser of Brave Futures said “We are delighted to have received such an excellent response to our call for crews from organisations across the region. The Challenge promises some spectacular racing and a fantastic event for all the teams. We hope we can fill the Riverside with spectators to cheer the crews on!”

Managing partner at Larking Gowen, Julie Grimmer attended the launch; "I am delighted to be here today to represent the whole Larking Gowen team, and our support of this inaugural event for Norwich. As a business, we remain committed to East Anglia; it is a great pleasure to be part of this event and in turn help to raise awareness of the vital work Brave Futures provides across the region.
