Larking Gowen is proud to sponsor International Women’s Day
Larking Gowen is delighted to be sponsoring the International Women’s Day event, taking place at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall on 6 March 2024, from 10.00am to 2.00pm, to celebrate this year’s theme #InspireInclusion.
The event aims to visualise a gender equal world, free from bias, stereotypes and discrimination. NatWest is sponsoring the event alongside Larking Gowen and other local businesses: Milsoms Hotel Group, Truck East, Ashtons Legal and Chassis Cab. Guests can attend the event for just £15.00 per person, inclusive of breakfast canapés, tea and coffee, and a light buffet lunch.
Notable speakers, including 'Faithful' Fay Greaves, from BBC One’s show, Traitors, will kick off the event, and global speaker Ife Thomas will inspire attendees. Debbie Lewis from NatWest will discuss progress on initiatives such as the 'investing in women code' and the 'women backing women' campaign. The speakers will also be joined by a panel of female entrepreneurs and leaders, offering diverse and empowering insights.
Becky Ames, Partner at Larking Gowen, who will be joining the panel discussion, said, “I’m really looking forward to being part of the panel at this fantastic event. The theme of International Women’s Day this year is to imagine a world that's diverse, equitable and inclusive. These are values that we are passionate about at Larking Gowen, promoting equality of opportunity by removing any actual or perceived barriers. As a business community, we have made progress, but there’s always more we can do, and I’m proud that we are supporting this inspiring event.”
