Larking Gowen celebrates Suffolk’s most inspirational volunteers

We were proud to support the recent Suffolk Community Awards, which celebrate Suffolk’s most inspirational individuals, groups and communities.

The 17 awards, which are delivered by Community Action Suffolk, Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Association of Local Councils, recognise the dedication of those who have improved the quality of life for a community in Suffolk, and range from young person of the year to Suffolk Good Neighbour award.

The winners received their reward at a special presentation ceremony in Stowmarket on 24 September 2024.

Hannah Stewart and Lee Robinson from Larking Gowen were delighted to present Stacey Phillips, Partnership and Fundraising Manager at Home-Start in Suffolk, with her award for 'Event Organiser of the Year', in recognition of Suffolk Sports Day 2023, hosted by Home-Start in Suffolk.

Hannah said, “Lee and I were delighted to present Stacey with her award for her hard work and commitment in raising vital funds and awareness of Home-Start Suffolk, by organising a fantastic sporting event involving the Suffolk business community.

“It’s the hard work and dedication of Stacey and the other award winners that make Suffolk a great place to live and work.”
