Larking Gowen celebrates region’s rural heritage by sponsoring local agricultural shows

Larking Gowen is delighted to announce its sponsorship of two of the region’s agricultural shows: the Wayland Show, one of the oldest one-day agricultural shows in the country, and the Aylsham Show, which is in its 76th year.

Both are annual events known for showcasing the region’s rural heritage.

Ashley Smith, Farms and Rural Business Partner at Larking Gowen, said, "The long history of these two agricultural shows demonstrates their importance in not only championing local farming, but also in educating the public on the industry. The educational impact becomes increasingly important as the gap between food production and the food people eat grows further apart, and these shows provide a useful platform for us all to shout about the importance of food, farming and the rural economy."

Visitors to the shows can look forward to a day of family-friendly activities, including livestock exhibits, craft stalls and live performances.

Larking Gowen's sponsorship reflects our ongoing dedication to supporting local events and initiatives that strengthen the bonds within our community.

You can find more information including how to buy tickets for the Wayland Show, which is on Sunday 4 August, using the blue button below.

The Aylsham Show takes place on bank holiday Monday 26 August and ticket information is available using the orange button below.

We look forward to seeing you there!
