Larking Gowen celebrates as staff member hits £50,000 charity target
Larking Gowen is celebrating as receptionist, Sharon Moore, from its Fakenham office, has reached a milestone in raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Sharon has spent the last 16 years raising money for the Trust and has hit her target of raising £50,000 – four years early! Sharon, who started supporting the charity when her cousin who was born with the disease turned 18, has no plans to stop fundraising.
"Thank you all for your support over the last 16 years," said Sharon, "but I have bad news for you all, I now want to raise £75,000 by 2030!"
Sharon has been supported by her colleagues over the years and Larking Gowen partner, Philip Moy, commented, "Sharon has worked tirelessly in her fundraising efforts and we are immensely proud of her achievements."
Sharon's latest venture was a bingo night that raised the £640 needed to hit her £50,000 target and she is already planning her next event, a tree at Fakenham Christmas tree festival from 1 to 8 December.
