Larking Gowen announces sponsorship of Bury St Edmunds and Beyond’s ‘Bringing Tourism Together Trade Fair’
Larking Gowen is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the ‘Bringing Tourism Together Trade Fair’, which will take place in Bury St Edmunds as part of the West Suffolk Business Festival in October.
Chris Scargill, Tourism Partner at Larking Gowen, said, “We are delighted to be this year’s sponsor. Tourism is an area of great importance to the national economy, employing a considerable number of people and supporting local economies throughout the country.”
As part of our commitment to tourism, Larking Gowen undertakes regular tourism and leisure business surveys to support the sector.
Explains Chris, “Surveys are an important awareness tool, which can be used by key decision makers, tourism, leisure and hospitality organisations and government, both local and national. Not only do they help businesses create development plans and benchmark against other businesses in the region, they also highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the industry and its economic benefits to the region.”
The ‘Bringing Tourism Together Trade Fair’ takes place at The Athenaeum on Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds, on Thursday 11 October from 5pm to 7pm.
Bury St Edmunds and Beyond, the official tourism brand for Bury St Edmunds and surrounding area, is inviting tourism and business professionals to come along to meet its members, which include accommodation providers, visitor attractions, food and drink providers, plus partners they are working with to promote the area.
