Local professionals join forces to support Norfolk charities and communities

Larking Gowen is proud to belong to a group of dedicated professionals, in Norfolk, that came together in the late 1990s to form Norfolk ProHelp. This initiative has been making a significant impact on the region since its inception and provides free professional and strategic advice to local charities and community interest groups.
Larking Gowen recognizes the need for charities and community organizations to access top-level professional advice without the financial burden. The panel of experts at Norfolk ProHelp includes architects, lawyers, accountants, tax specialists, structural engineers, insurance brokers, marketing professionals, media experts, and design specialists – all generously offering their services free of charge to support the local community.

Julie Grimmer, Larking Gowen Managing Partner and Chair of Norfolk ProHelp, explains the invaluable support they provide, saying, "We see the free support we give as effectively a form of initial seed finance that allows projects to progress."

As well as our commitment to Norfolk ProHelp, Larking Gowen has extended its support to Suffolk ProHelp.
For Larking Gowen, involvement in Norfolk ProHelp and similar organizations is more than just a corporate responsibility. It's a reflection of our commitment to the community and social responsibility.
Julie concludes, “By actively participating in projects like these, the entire team gains exposure to partnership working, broadening our professional horizons and enhancing skills, which ultimately benefits our clients.”
