Larking Gowen sponsors Suffolk Wildlife Trust

Larking Gowen are thrilled to announce their support as Event Sponsors for the trust, sponsoring three events across 2024.

We welcome guests to join us for the first event - Woodlands by Natural Regeneration Approach  -  a farm walk taking place on Wednesday 17 April at The Hall, Milden.

Owner Juliet Hawkins and Farm Adviser Maddie Lord will take us on a farm walk looking at different establishment methods for woodland creation; planting, assisted colonisation and natural colonisation.

Topics will cover how different establishment methods can benefit wildlife, ongoing woodland management and funding opportunities, with reference to current schemes such as government grants and new carbon markets.

Farms and Rural Business Partner, Bruce Masson will share views on woodlands by natural colonisation and getting woods back into management.
