After a light breakfast, James Lay, Corporate Transactions Partner, will present on practical ways to prepare a business for sale and maximise its attractiveness and value. The presentation will be based on his 20 years’ experience of advising hundreds of owners on the sale of their businesses.

In the second part, Jack Minns, a fellow Corporate Transactions Partner, will talk through how a business is
sold. Jack will bring this to life through a case study of a recent deal he advised on, with a live question and answer session with the buyer and seller. This session will also give you an opportunity to ask the panel any questions you may have.

Our presentation is aimed at business owners generating annual profits of £250k upwards and considering the sale of their business in the short to medium term.
